Tuesday Tip: Protect your data

Your data is valuable. And sometimes even private, maybe even confidential. For all of you who want to protect your data stored in DEVONthink from prying eyes, I’ve added a short online tutorial to the DEVONacademy. It explains how to password-protect your databases and how to create disk images that you can use as data vaults with industry-strength encryption. If you care about security, read on.

    Page 4 of the disk image tutorial has an error, or at least a confusion. The text suggests selecting “sparse disk image”, but the illustration shows the selection as “sparse bundle disk image”. I assume the latter is correct, since DT DBs are bundles.
