Back from the States, and some insight

As I had posted here before my vacation, we were not just visiting Chicago, IL, and the wonderful Lake Michigan in the last three weeks, but we also invaded Bill DeVille’s log cabin. We spend a wonderful and relaxing week with literally tons of great barbecue. Staying miles away from any civilization somewhere the Indiana forest has … challenges to it … but we mastered. And, I finally found out why we only get good marks for our customer support and so few complaints: See what I spotted on Bill’s mantelpiece (click image on the left).

Glad to hear you guys had a good visit. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the barbecue because I’m a vegetarian πŸ˜‰

Hi, kalisphoenix. Concerning recent studies of brain shrinkage related to a strictly vegetarian diet, do take vitamin B12 supplements.

As to the tasty things that came off the BBQ grill for Eric and his family, steaks, hamburgers, bratwurst, hot dogs. But also things you would like: corn on the cob, and mushrooms.

I often grill shish kebabs: meat, onion, mushrooms, tomato and bell pepper — good food and a variety of taste sensations. πŸ™‚

Brain shrinkage? Would that affect my swelled head?

Consider me on a Vitamin B12 strike until DTP2 is released πŸ˜‰

The food sounds fantastic. No andouille, then?

We had gumbo one night. Yes, there was andouille in the gumbo. πŸ™‚
