Clip to DEVONthink updated for Retina displays

Clip to DEVONthink Using the Clip to DEVONthink Safari extension you easily capture web pages to your DEVONthink database with a single click or keystroke. We have today updated the extension for Retina displays and corrected an issue that prevents the current version 1.2.1 from automatically updating itself. If you own a MacBook with Retina display this update is for you!

Download the new version 1.2.2 by clicking here and install it by double-clicking the downloaded file. Check with Safari > Preferences > Extensions if an older version of Clip to DEVONthink is still installed and uninstall it, if necessary. Keep only the most current version: 1.2.2.

Thanks a lot, guys! I’m on a 15″ retina MacBook Pro and have have had an ongoing problem with the keyboard shortcut to bring up the clipping dialogue/extension not working. I use it constantly and guess I clip, on avarage, at least 50 items from Safari every day (some days much more, some days less). The keyboard shortcut is a huge time-saver and the problem has been driving me nuts. The DTPO 2.6 update fixed it for half a day, then it stopped working. Now it seems to be finally working properly – again, thanks a lot! And thank’s for making some of the greatest software available, that has become indispensable for my degree in anthropology as well as my photography, private office and knowledge-management on various topics I am researching & teaching myself – as well as archives/databases full of inspiration. Getting stuff into the database easily and with minimum effort is maybe the most important part.

    Kind regards
    Simon
