Desktop Transporter fix for Leopard

While Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard brings integrated screen sharing based on VNC, Desktop Transporter still has a number of advantages over Apple’s own solution, among others Wake-on-LAN, fully automatic clipboard synchronization, full screen mode, and proper bandwidth statistics. In addition, it features a convenient menu extra and browser window that gives a quick overview over all available shared screens on the network. Now, the current version 2.5 of Desktop Transporter has an issue in Leopard that causes the background daemon to crash consistently. Daniel has already fixed this problem and to bridge the time until we release the final update to version 2.5.1, here’s the current beta for you to download to keep you up and running also on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

I’d like to add another advantage: if you use ssh to tunnel connections over a port on `localhost’, the Apple solution won’t work for you. Desktop Transporter has another edge here.
