Save yourself lots of clicks with DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.8.4

Indexing documents with DEVONthink ProDEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.8.4 are available. They let you move new documents into your databases more quickly. Save yourself a lot of now superfluous clicks by dragging files or folders to the application with the ⌘ Command modifier key pressed. It imports them and trashes their originals in one go.

The new release also enhances smart groups, supports new file types, and heavily improves querying databases via AppleScript. The applications now retain tags when splitting documents and inform more in detail about the progress of lengthy tasks. Finally, this release makes it easier than ever to build templates that consist of more than a single file.

    @Jim – sarcasm much?? But I agree… any word on a fixed sync system?? DevonTechnologies – I know you are worried about the NSA and cloud storage, and support tons of different syncing methods. But get over it — just release something simple, even if it means “getting rid of” some existing features — but something that works. It’s 2015. It’s doable.

    @Jason – Yes. Much sarcasm.
