DEVONthink To Go 2.6.3 improves sync and reliability

Reauthentication WarningRight in time for the sunny weekend DEVONthink To Go 2.6.3 has passed Apple’s review and is now available on the App Store. With this maintenance release we’re concentrating to make the app faster and more reliable, especially the synchronization. Among many other improvements DEVONthink To Go no longers sleeps during very long sync runs and uses a less storage space when importing databases shallowly.

We now also warn you when you choose a reauthentication delay that would break Files app integration or when you try do download documents without enough available storage space on your device.

You can find the complete list of all changes always inside the app (tap the question mark button on the first screen). We recommend this free update to all users. Update your copy through the App Store app or receive the update automatically, depending on your App Store settings.

It take too long time to sync with “Devonthink to go” via BOX.
Sometimes it takes a couple of day. Could someone advice to set sync via BOX?

  2. Jim Neumann says:

Any remote sync location has inherent limitations due to network conditions, etc. If this is the initial sync, you will need to keep the device awake, and DTTG in the foreground. Background App Refresh cannot be relied upon for this initial phase. Subsequent syncs will be faster since there’s less data being synced.
